Job Overview

The Chief Executive (CE) is the Chief Executive of the British Chamber of Commerce Zambia, responsible for translating the Board’s strategic direction into operational delivery. This is a key leadership role based in Lusaka.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate Board-approved strategy into clear annual plans, priorities, and Key Performance Indicators.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with member representatives.
• Design and deliver overall calendar of member engagement events.
• Lead the Chamber’s advocacy agenda in line with member priorities.
• Manage the Chamber’s finances, budget, and cashflow within Board-approved limits.

• Ambitious, commercially minded leader with a track record of building relationships and driving growth.
• Experience in advocacy, policy, and membership organization management.
