Radio's Technician

Job Overview

Zambia Sugar Plc. is an ABF Sugar Company and is the leading sugar producer in Zambia. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe operations and maintenance of the Estate two-way radio network infrastructure whilst driving Safety Performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement planned maintenance budget for all radio installations
• Promote and adhere to ABF procedures, policies and guidelines, including SHERQ and ABC
• Plan, coordinate and execute preventive and corrective maintenance of radio communication infrastructure
• Manage the diagnosis, repair, testing and restoration of faulty communication equipment
• Install, configure, commission and maintain base radio stations, repeaters, antennas and associated radios infrastructure
• Provide technical support for Saflec time and access control systems

Requirements

• Full Grade 12 Certificate
• Advanced Technician Certificate in Telecommunications or Electronics
• Diploma in Telecommunications or Electronics is an added advantage
