Job Overview

Biogas Technology Zambia is a Zambian woman-led clean energy company specializing in biodigester systems. We are looking for a Bricklayer to support biodigester construction and masonry works during the installation of biogas systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Construct brickwork for biodigester plants and related structures.
• Lay bricks, blocks, and other construction materials according to specifications.
• Mix and apply mortar, concrete, and other materials as required.
• Prepare foundations and carry out other masonry-related construction works.
• Read and follow basic construction drawings and instructions.
• Ensure brickwork is properly aligned, levelled, and finished.
• Assist with excavation, mobilisation of materials, and site preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness at the worksite.

Requirements

• Certificate in bricklaying (additional certificates in a related field will be an added advantage).
• Minimum 1 year experience.
• Copy of Grade 9 or Grade 12 Certificate.
• Application letter.
• Prior experience on biodigester/septic/tank works is an advantage.
