Job Overview

Barrick Lumwana Mining is currently seeking qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Auto Electrician to join our dedicated Maintenance Team in Kalumbila, North West Province, Zambia.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting electrical diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on haul trucks, loaders, excavators, drills, and light vehicles.
• Installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting wiring, sensors, controllers, and charging systems.
• Testing, calibrating, and repairing alternators, starters, batteries, lighting circuits, and control modules.

Requirements

• Grade 12 School Certificate.
• Minimum Craft Certificate in Auto Electrical or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of experience working on electrical systems within mining, heavy industrial, or commercial fleet environments.
• Membership with the Engineering Institute of Zambia.
