Job Overview

BGS, Bridging Gap Solutions, invites applications for a full-time Logistics Officer position based in Lusaka, Zambia. This role focuses on the management of fleet, transport, and logistics support to ensure safe, compliant, and cost-effective operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport arrangements for personnel and equipment.
• Manage vehicle allocation, scheduling, and driver relationships.
• Maintain vehicle and logistics asset registers.
• Oversee vehicle acquisition, registration, and disposal.
• Develop preventive maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, insurance, and safety regulations.
• Monitor fuel consumption and fleet operating costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transport Management, or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in logistics, fleet, or operations.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Valid Driver’s Licence.
