Key Responsibilities

• Deliver rock tools and related products to designated sites promptly and efficiently.
• Retrieve worn or damaged rock tools from drill sites and transport them for surface assessment.
• Analyze tool conditions and failures, collaborating with operators to identify improvements.
• Perform sorting, gauging, cutting back, grinding, and color-coding of used drill bits.

Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent qualification.
• Craft Certificate of Competence, Advanced Technician Certificate, or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years’ proven experience in related bit grinding or mining operations.
• Full physical and medical certification to work in a mining environment.
