Key Responsibilities

• Enforce strict compliance with SHEQ policies, conduct shift safety briefings and risk assessments.
• Oversee all drill and blast QA/QC activities, ensuring holes meet design criteria.
• Maintain QA/QC protocols for drilling, charging, and blasting.

Requirements

• Grade Twelve Certificate or equivalent.
• Degree in Mining Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 4 to 5 years’ experience in open pit mining, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Valid driver’s license is essential.
