Fleet Supervisor

Job Overview

Icheetah Logtech Zambia Limited is seeking a dedicated and experienced Fleet Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our vehicle fleet in Kitwe, Copperbelt.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervising daily vehicle deployment and route management to maximize efficiency.
• Monitoring driver attendance, performance, and compliance with company procedures.
• Tracking vehicle mileage, routes, and usage to ensure proper utilisation.
• Coordinating vehicle servicing, repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Monitoring fuel allocation and consumption, identifying and reporting any irregularities.
• Ensuring all vehicles have valid licences, insurance, fitness certificates, and other required documentation.
• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards.
• Responding promptly to vehicle breakdowns, accidents, and other fleet incidents.
• Maintaining accurate records of vehicles, drivers, fuel consumption, maintenance, and inspections.
• Preparing regular reports on fleet performance and operational status.
• Promoting safe driving practices, vehicle care, and regulatory compliance.
• Reporting any fleet-related issues, losses, misuse, or operational delays to management.

Requirements

Candidates should possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Transport and Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Previous experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet operations is highly advantageous.
