Job Overview
To manage and coordinate key administrative processes within the Office of the University Registrar, with particular responsibility for student recruitment, graduation, the Talent Pipeline Programme, academic exclusions and Senate readmissions, policy development, and the annual production of the Universityβs General and Faculty Rule Books, thereby ensuring efficient, accurate and student-centred administrative service delivery.
Requirements
- Relevant Postgraduate qualification in Administration, Public Management, Higher Education Administration or a related field.
- At least 5 yearsβ relevant administrative experience, preferably in a higher education environment.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex administrative processes, events, records and stakeholder communication.
- Proficiency in ITS (I-enabler)
- Computer literacy, including proficiency in standard office productivity applications
- Driverβs licence
Key Responsibilities
- Student Recruitment: Promote programme offerings, coordinate recruitment events, and maintain recruitment databases.
- Graduation: Manage the graduation programme, procedure guides, and ceremony logistics.
- Talent Pipeline Programme: Manage project planning, monitor learner participation, and coordinate academic support.
- Academic Exclusions and Senate Readmissions: Coordinate the Senate Re-Admissions Committee and manage appeal processes.
- Policy Development: Monitor, review, and develop policies relevant to administrative processes.
- General and Faculty Rule Books: Coordinate the annual production and verification of University rule books.
