Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Workshop Technician / Mechanic to join our workshop team. The ideal candidate will have a strong diesel mechanical background as their core trade and possess sound auto-electrical diagnostic and repair skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine servicing and preventative maintenance on diesel and petrol vehicles.
• Diagnose and repair engine, transmission, driveline, steering, suspension, braking, and cooling system faults.
• Overhaul and repair diesel engines and major components.
• Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical and electronic systems.

Requirements

Craft Certificate, Trade Test Certificate or Diploma in Diesel Mechanics, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Minimum 5 years' practical experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.Valid driver's licence.Registered with the Engineering Institution of Zambia (EIZ).
