Radio’s Technician

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe operations and maintenance of the Estate two-way radio network infrastructure whilst driving Safety Performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and implement planned maintenance budget for all radio installations
• Plan, coordinate and execute preventive and corrective maintenance of radio communication infrastructure across the Estate
• Manage the diagnosis, repair, testing and restoration of faulty communication equipment
• Install, configure, commission and maintain base radio stations, repeaters, antennas
• Provide technical support for Saflec time and access control systems

Requirements

• Full grade 12 Certificate
• Advanced Technician Certificate in Telecommunications or Electronics
• Diploma in Telecommunications or Electronics is an added advantage
