First Quantum Minerals is seeking a highly skilled professional for the role of Technical Advisor in Kalumbila, North West Province, Zambia.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced technical support for Komatsu, Volvo, and CAT heavy mining equipment.
• Lead diagnosis and troubleshooting of complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical failures.
• Support maintenance teams during significant equipment breakdowns.

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification or recognized trade certificate in mechanical engineering.
• 5 to 10 years of experience working with heavy mechanical equipment.
• Membership with the Engineering Institute of Zambia (EIZ).
