Assistant Manager

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Assistant Manager / Shift Manager to join our growing Quick Service Restaurant team. We need someone who is confident leading a busy restaurant operation, managing staff, controlling stock and maintaining excellent standards of food quality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage staff, roster, train and discipline team members.
• Oversee stock management, stock counts, inventory control and variance reporting.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Handle cash-ups, POS systems and daily sales reconciliation.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle complaints professionally.

Requirements

• Grade 12 Certificate.
• 5+ years' proven experience working in a restaurant or Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) environment.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a Restaurant Management, Supervisor or Shift Leader position.
• Proven experience with stock management, stock counts, inventory control and variance reporting.
• Must stay within the areas around Eastpark Mall or be able to independently get to work.
